Bilingual Front Office Greeter

Reports to: Practice Manager, Regional Manager

About this role: The Greeter welcomes visitors upon arrival, issues appropriate paperwork and receives insurance information for each patient. This position also performs the “Trust Walk” and answers questions and manages the waiting room. Work with patients and families to explain the benefits of additional treatment cases on behalf of the Dentist. The greeter explains benefits and limitations of private insurance to the patient and family, handles payments and consent forms, and assists in the scheduling or rescheduling of treatment.



Job Responsibilities:

  • Greets patients upon arrival according to scripts and established guidelines
  • Obtain insurance information, review it for accuracy and route it to the appropriate staff member
  • Reassure patients and parents if they become upset or nervous; report potential problems to the OfficeManager as soon as they are known so that proactive measures may be taken.
  • Performs “Trust Walk” with parents and patients if they are new to the practice.
  • Build patient or family file in our system
  • Schedule and confirm appointment
  • Handle routine questions about appointments, policies, insurance and treatment
  • Collect fees per patients insurance or office visit
  • Clean/maintain front office area and lobby
  • Manage consent forms
  • Maintain confidentiality of company employees and patient information.
  • Perform other duties as assigned



Basic Qualifications:

  • Bilingual (Fluent in English/Spanish)
  • A professional and friendly demeanor
  • Able to work in fast- paced environment

Monday-Saturday (Alternating Mondays and Saturdays)
